Slovakia: From April 2017 your bailiff will be selected at random only
As of April 1, 2017, your bailiff will be selected at random only. The one exception will be in case, where the same bailiff will be responsible for all enforcement proceedings against the same indebted party. The only competent court will be the District Court in Banská Bystrica. The bailiff’s remuneration cannot exceed the amount claimed, in any case. When the bailiff cannot confirm sufficient means, the court will close the proceedings within 5 years in the case of a natural person, and within 30 months in the case of a legal person.

New software for law firms
Peter Compel, CAG member for the Czech Republic, developed together with Kamar sofware a new application for law firms in CZ and SK. This program helps law firms with time-sheets, monthly billing and invoicing. Once ENG version is prepared, the interested CAG members will evaluate the possible use of this program in other CAG member countries.
This application is the first commercial project within the CAG network.
